Every Thursday from June 20 to October 10 you get the freshest of vegetables and fruits while also helping the promotion of land conversation. CAFM features over 40 food and craft vendors each week as well as music, education, children's activities and cooking demonstrations. Located in beautiful Stage Fort Park, there is free parking during market hours. Eligible Cape Ann Farmers' Market vendors accept EBT/SNAP, WIC and Senior Farmers' Market Coupons. MOTIF #1 DAY (Downtown Rockport) May 17, 2014 Experience one of the most-often painted and photographed buildings in America as you celebrate spring in Rockport. Motif No.1 Day celebrates Rockport's storied place in history as a home for the arts, as symbolized by the famous red fishing shack (dubbed Motif No. 1), the subject of countless paintings from the 19th century through the present time. Rockport honors the iconic building with a day dedicated to the arts, expressed in family-focused, interactive ways. The festival offers an opportunity for budding and practicing artists alike to draw and paint the Motif through the "Try Your Hand" art event, with easels set up at different vantage points throughout downtown. Art activities for children, a scavenger hunt, poetry readings, dance, film, art exhibits, dramatic presentations and fantastic live music will all be featured for a festival that encompasses nearly every artistic medium. This is a unique celebration of a seaside village, with Rockport's business and cultural community joining in the fun through each organization's special activities and events in conjunction with the festival.
