The Rockport Garden Tour includes 10 gardens from Pigeon Cove to the South End. The gardens range from an inviting cozy garden on Bearskin Neck to expansive seaside vistas to self- sustaining gardens replete with chickens, ducks and bees. The gardens show the wonderful diversity of Rockport life and invite all to enjoy. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Rockport Police Station, Toad Hall Books or online at rockportgardenclub. org. Early bird discount : $20, if purchased prior to June 1. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at the police station on the days of the tour. Pleasant Street The Rockport Farmers' Market provides fresh surprises with its roster of vendors offering small-batch, locally-produced food at each week's outdoor market, taking place every Saturday morning, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, in the heart of downtown Rockport. Residents and visitors alike are able to pick up something delicious for their weekend meals, whether they're staying indoors or headed out to the boat or the beach. The Rockport Farmers' Market offers organically-grown produce, eggs, grass-fed beef, smoked fsh, gluten-free pastries, canned jams and jellies, fresh bread, homemade doughnuts, award- winning pickles – all of which are just a highlight of the broad selection found at each week's small, but mighty local farmers' market. rockportexchange.org July 3 – 4, 2016 Independence Day Celebrations Cape Ann Cape Ann Celebrates Independence Day with Fireworks, Parades, Bonfres, Concerts and more. Gloucester's Eastern Point is a community of historic homes and estates along the eastern side of Gloucester Harbor. Join us for a self-guided tour of uniquely landscaped properties and see the beauty hidden behind the walls and gates surrounding them. Gardens of varying sizes and styles will have volunteers from all of the Cape Ann garden clubs as "garden sitters." This tour is sure to delight even the most experienced of garden tour goers. On the day of the tour, pick up your ticket/booklet with maps and descriptions at the entrance to Eastern Point (juncture of Eastern Point Boulevard and Farrington Street).
